If you do a 3 or 4 team parlay do you still only have 1 fade play?
I dont think i would do anything more than a 2 gamer unless it was a money line parlay
Isn't the contingency plan really the fade play in hopes you can salvage some profit as the goal here is to hit the parlay and make the maximum profit? The good thing is you wont lose more than 1.5 units per set with 2 chances to profit
you have it spot on.. yes only one fade play as i dont wanna risk more than 1.50 units a play. i usually go with 2 play parlays unless i feel real good about 3-4 games..usually its not the case with me tho.Originally Posted by oilcountry99

My bad, you're right the single game winner is the bigger payout.
So everything I said yesterday was backwards.
I guess the more i look at this the more im not sure it makes sense to me. Your strongest play is the single game bet seeing as that is the highest payout, you want that to win first an foremost. So then you fade your strongest play and pair it with your second strongest play as insurance or contingency plan. Thats how i understand it, am I right?
the whole point of this is to cut your losses, you will never win more than .25 or .40 units unless you hit a 3 or 4 game plarlay and miss the single play with this system. hope this makes sense. the games i choose are the games i feel fit this system the best. im either gonna win the parlay or only win the single play a high percent of the time. i may have more than 1 set of plays per day also. but for now risking 1.5 units a day on this is what im comfortable with.

Congrats, Yinz. Picking the winner of the 1st game is always tough and its been working so keep it up.
I like the Memphis play tonight, but I would flip the 2nd game, putting the clips in the parlay and playing the lakeshow straight. Clips have a better chance of covering the small line IMHO.

I like the system, i'll jump on board tomorrow....can you give me some more detail on how you pick your top plays? Cause the system depends on how good you cap your game, so i want to get an idea of how you make your picks

Comp if you think LAC has a better chance of covering would you not play this the same way as Yinz played it?
The bigger payout comes on the single game winner.
if you hit the 2 play parlay and miss the single play the pay out is .25 units
if you hit the single play and miss the parlay the pay out is .40 units

maybe i am too stupid to understand this but what happens if the game u r not fading loses and the single play? then u lose 1.5 units?
in average u get +.40 units on a day so u would need almost 4 days to get those 1.5 units back? am i right? and if yes... isnt this some kind of ultra risky system?

Oil - yeah it did work the way Yinz had it and if I had followed it, I would have won, but I decided to lay off the MEM game after hearing the Z-Bo was out with the flu. That would have been too much points to give up without your best playmaker.
Laid off the LA game as well because I feared that the 4thQ was gonna be trouble for the Clips (and I was almost right).
I did try this with OKC and Houston and ended up with the smaller profit. If you have to lose, you'd rather lose the parlay and win the straight. The true gamble on this is trying to win it all for the max profit.
Exactly what i was thinking. You have to sneak in some 3 team parlay winners to create cushion and get ahead IMO. Its fun to play but I dont think it will be a big money maker unless you are really good at capping the NBA.
