Different look, should be much better now that they have a team not just 10 swingmen. Great move ditching iguodala

I was thinking the same thing. I think iguodala is garbage, just my thought.

They'll be better. Iguodala is a great all around player, but the Sixers badly needed help in the frontcourt. Spencer Hawes and Elton Brand won't cut it in the NBA if you want to go deep in the playoffs. Iguodala is expendable too because this will open up more minutes for Evan Turner. Losing Lou Williams and adding Nick Young seems like a wash to me. Very similar players, only difference is Nick Young has the height to play the SG position, whereas Lou Williams has always been an undersized SG.

After Miami, the East is pretty open. I don't see Chicago or Boston being dominant this next season. 76ers could finish anywhere between the 2nd seed to the 6th seed.

Andre is a big loss. Bynum is a stats guy. He is not a winner when it matters.

Andre is one of the top 5 perimeter defenders in the NBA. Who's gonna take on that task now? Evan Turner? No way he can guard elite SG and SF's like Andre could.

Not relevant in the East? Really? Who will be then? This team could easily be the #2 team in the East with Rose out.

They basically traded Iggy and Lou Williams for Bynum, Wright, Jrich, Nick Young and Arnet Moutrie.

They have arguably the deepest team in the league now... each of these guys can be a starter in this league,...

Bynum, Hawes, Wright, Turner, Holliday, Thad Young, Nick Young, JRich and two wild cards in Moultry and Lavoy allen who played solid last yr..

They arent a championship contender with superteams like miami and lal out there.. but definitely relevant.

They are 10x better this yr.. coming off a year where they were one win away from beating the Celtics (a team that took Miami to 7 games).

Will be a fun team to watch. Young talent with a stud big man and solid shooters.

is 18 and 10 a bad thing? And that was as a third option... He will be around 23 and

Miami, Chicago, maybe Boston, Indy. I'm a Laker fan/long-time season ticket holder. I watched Bynum grow up. The problem is, he hasn't grown up. He thinks he can single-handedly carry a team when he's had Kobe, Pau and Fish by his side. Once reality sets in and frustration comes into play they will collapse.

Chicago without Rose? didnt last yrs weaker philly team beat them? Boston? Didnt last years weaker team take them to 7 games? Indy was basically the same as last yrs philly team.. this new sixer team is too deep and now has shooters and a big man... idk, sure im a homer.. but outside of Miami, I dont see any argument for any other team in the east over philly.

No I'm just saying he's a stats guy bro. Bynum is not a winner. He's can't pass effectively out of the post. Wait until he plays under Collins. He's gonna be all over Bynum like a cheap suit.

After Miami, the East is completely open. Only problem is no team will even come close to contending with Miami out East. However, not much separation out East between #2 and #7.

The loss of Iggy is pretty big, and the Nuggets have done nicely there. On the strength of their current roster I have them projected to win 33 games, and hence regress from being a 0.5 team to a 0.4 team.

lol yea, losing an overpaid Iggy and Lou, yet gaining Bynum, Jrich, Dorrell Wright and Nick Young, along with Jrue and Turner being a year older, will make them a worse team

Lose Iggy, Lou and Elton might turn out to be a wash with the acquisitions.

I could see anywhere from #3-#5 seed and a second round exit. Brooklyn is the wildcard in this along with the Knicks.

Heat and Celtics will be #1 and #2. Not sure if Indiana take the #3.

    1. reason. Who was guarding Paul Pierce in that series? End of story.
