If you look at all situations between these 2 teams, it makes sense how this trade will happen.
Dwight Howard might be a New York Knick by next season. Here is why:

Stoudemire and Carmelo can't work together. Stoudemire for one thinks he is way better than he is and should get 25 shots a game and going to Orlando that can happen again for him. He plays no defense and can't rebound. The Knicks need one more piece in my opinion to be contenders. Chandler can't do it by himself.

The contracts will fit. Stoudemire and Howard's contracts are going to be almost equal and the trade will be easily doable for both parties. The Knicks have amassed a solid bench out of no where and can move a guy or 2 with Stoudemire in a nice package. There are guys like Tony Douglas, Harrelson, and Bill Walker who teams will definitely want even though they get no minutes on this team. They are good role players and will be solid contributors to another team off the bench, not just a throw-in.

Howard doesn't demand the ball, but at the same time demands double teams in the post which benefits Carmelo even more. His offensive skills are weak and his game is very similar to Chandler's, but You can't tell me these 2 can't play together or they will clog the lane. They can be powerhouses in the lanes together. Chandler is very unselfish and could care less if he scored 5 points a game. He's a banger and does ALL the dirty work and takes pride in it.

Last reason is very simple- The Magic are desperate to dump Howard and the Knicks are quietly going to look to dump Amare. This is going to be the only "Superstar" the Magic will be able to obtain for Howard. No one's giving up a ton of talent for a guy about to be a free-agent next year and who has caused so much drama for his team the last 2 years. This guy has been worse than Lebron as far as being a drama-queen and that is hard to believe since Lebron is the biggest female ever pretty much IMO.

If there has ever been 2 teams looking to find a happy solution after making mistakes, it's these 2 teams right here with these 2 players. Howard has been a dumbass and ruined that franchise pretty much by being a Diva. He would never be able to do any of that in NY. He won't be the franchise, and he knows he can't be a "franchise player" anyways. It's a perfect hole to crawl into AND contend for a championship at the same time.

There have not been any rumors of this trade, but it just makes sense. It's so hard to trade superstars for superstars in the NBA,but this one looks quite simple based on contracts and benches.

Where will Dwight Howard play next season? Stay tuned!!!
