I think the line speaks for itself. Im going to roll with LA +1.5. Books made this line knowing that everyone is down on the Lakers after they barely beat GS, lost to UTA and MEM at home, etc. Whereas OKC is flying high after beating MIA, POR, LAC, etc. Hence why the public is all over OKC.

Small sample size, but LA is 2-0 as a home dog. LA will get up for this game, and Kobe hasn't forgotten the last time they met. Might have to play a Kobe OVER pts prop as well.

I've noticed this as well. Is it me or does a 2 point swing over the PK not mean as much as say -4 to -6.

Exactly, +1 is pretty much the same as -1 to me. But books try to get people to say "Oh wow, it moves a whole 2 points!" I'm sure the books opened it at OKC +1 knowing they would get hit hard and they'd eventually move it to -1. If they opened it at OKC -1, no way would it be at OKC -3.

yeah the line movement from -1 to +1 means nothing. it's just the bookies tryna **** with you. whatever you were leaning originally just stick with it don't let the bookies change your opinion because of line movement.

I think the books are genius.

They open it at a line in which they know people will love OKC. OKC moves to a favorite. Smart money, which was probably waiting for this small move then goes ahead and pounds the Lakers. The line moves back to OKC +1. Now, more of the general public that hasn't placed their bets yet will take OKC again. The line will probably move back to a PK or OKC -1.

I'm pretty sure the books love backing LA here.

Easy now. They got off to a really bad start i mean 1-9 KD35 in the first quarter and their only down by 12 i'll take that. Credit to lakers though they used their interior presence well so far and making okc settle for jumpshots. That said OKC ain't done by a long shot

No doubt and I would thrilled if the Thunder come back and win. There is a reason I don't bet against them, I want them to win.

With that said, this is the NBA. Everyone makes runs. I didn't expect LA to just have a cake walk tonight. I wouldn't be surprised if OKC leads in the second.
