Why Was San Antonio Only 3 to 5 pt Favorites Today?

I'm trying to understand Vegas' reasoning here. SA is red hot, awesome home record and much better overall record than Philly

What is the reason why this wasn't about an 8 point line?

    Gotcha

has there been any proof that being on a B2b2 has been a negative thing this year? I recall Phoenix, Chicago and Miami all winning 3 straight while on a b2b2b

Throw an opponent in like Philly and the Spurs could play b2b2b2b2b2b2b2b and still wipe out this team by double digits.

Philly really is a bettor's wet dream

They dominate every game against bad teams and have a ridiculous ATS record against teams with losing records...meanwhile they're god awful in games against good teams

Thanks Brahma for looking @ the final score, then questioning the spread using your keen hindsight.

not really but my guess is that lines will reflect this type of scheduling because the deeper we get into the season, the more perceived fatigue and negative impact there will be.

There is just no aggressive play by Philly tonight. Too many jumpers, barely any power to the rim, almost a ghost of a team at the foul line. They beat up on an exhausted Celtics team and then this is the best they can offer against one of the best in the NBA? If you can't get up for this game with an aggressive game plan then forget about going anywhere in the playoffs.
