It's hard to take anything meaningful out of overnight line fluctuation. Especially when the move is only happening here and there. Pinnacle/Greek are still standing firm at -3.5.

I love Boston here. You forget how bad Cavs were against the Hornets and everybody was on them there. Boston with Rondo to work on Irving and KG at full strength look like a solid pick, especially after a break. The Under also looks tempting!

If you like money, take the Celtics here. Varejao played a BIG role in that cavs victory last time.

Just checked both games and Varejao was basically the best player in both and Boston were without Rondo on both occasions. The Boston front court gave Jamison far too much trouble and if he is limited, I don't see this as being even close to be honest. Rondo is a huge upgrade over Bradley to face Irving and with the rest all Boston pensioners are fresh and healthy. Boston shot over 50% in both games and it was rebounding that cost them with Varejao taking more than 50% of the Cavs boards the second game. Boston actually need this one and it comes at a good time, so no Cavs for me today.

Hell they were only -4.5 @ the pathetic Wizards which is their 2nd highest line on the road this year. The highest being -7 @ those same Wizards way, way early in the season.

Cavs layed 7 points to teams like Philly and Clippers who are .600+ teams, Boston is UNDER .500. -6 makes no sense at all.
ur right ab the lines going into the break for boston as im sure age and fatigue set in. i think the public mindset is that boston is well rested and fresh to begin the second half coupled with being a big market team i assumed the line would be higher in their favor. relax fella u don't need to slam or get tough here, i'm just trying to get opinions like everyone else to make $

good call on the ref assignments, i tried following the officials last season but its not like the nfl where a group of refs stay together. they are individually assigned to random games and the only trend i was able to vaguely piece together would be head or lead officials with at least 1 official that had history with the lead.

I am getting 77% on Boston ML on European forums and 72% on the -3. Highly profitable players take a risk, though and go for Cavs -2, but that's why they are profitable...they thrive in situations like this!

Celtics Money Line it is. No way they come outta the break and lose. Different Celtics team post-break. Rondo, Ray Allen, Garnett and Pierce gonna take it to the kids tonight.

Looking fw to this game. Cavs don't stand a chance without Sideshow Bob.
If Wilcox and Bass are up to snuff, this could be a blowout of the sort we
haven't seen in a while at the Quicken Loans center.

Notice how the line hasn't gone up with the news of Bass and Wilcox playing.

Anyone else find it a bit weird that the 76ers line dropped from -4 to -3.5 with everyone pounding Phili?

No, because that information is thoroughly irrelevant.
    Consider
    1) it is info provided by offshore books who want you to lose
    2) it is only the # of bets, not the dollar amounts
    3) it does not contain Vegas bets
    4) it does not contain street action
    5) the "public" wins as often as the "sharps"

and most of all - there is no such thing as RLM.
    hth.

Do you really think the 15% of bets on Detroit outweighs the 85% on Phili from a money perspective? I highly doubt, unless Floyd Mayweather is on the Pistons.

Either way, BOL. I know that any momentum prior to the all-star break is probably gone, but up until the break, Detroit was one of the hottest teams in the NBA, and Phili was one of the coldest.

Let's be honest, this is Bass and Wilcox, not Kareem and Magic. I wouldn't expect much line movement in Boston's favor, and they are on the road afterall.

Celtics get the big W tonight. They should cover but took ML to give me some cushion. Expecting big 2nd half surge and coming out of the break with a full head of steam here.
