Bulls-Sixers Total Three Point Shots Made Over 9 [-115] Said it before, will almost always take this prop when it involves two teams that can make 2/3 of this number by themselves. That's what we find here with these two teams averaging about eleven made threes between them. Sixers in particular might be good to get most of this as they hit 38% from deep at home, while Chicago struggles - giving up 38% on the road. Bulls hit 40% of their threes on the road.
Pistons Greg Monroe Total Rebounds Over 9.5 [-135] This is one number Monroe has been able to hit even in blowouts. He's grabbed double digit boards in five straight and eight of his last ten. Last year, he hit for double digit rebounds in all three meetings with New Jersey. If the game could be close, all the better.
Atlanta Joe Johnson Over 20.5 [-130] Johnson has been much more consistent at home this season with 20 or more in seven of the last eight at home with six of those seeing him hit for more than 21. Memphis is pretty competitive usually, so hopefully no blowout here and plenty of minutes for Johnson.
Chicago Carlos Boozer Total Rebounds Over 9 [-125] Boozer has hit this number in six of his last eight games overall with some of those coming in 30 minutes or less. Last season, he absolutely manhandled the Knicks the two times he saw action with 41 rebounds combined in the two games.
Clippers Chris Paul Total Points Over 20.5 [+100] CP3 is grooving since returning from injury with 25 or better in three straight and better than this number in 5 of his last six starts. That includes the last meeting with Denver. Look for him to get loose again tonight.
Oh hell no. There was no doubt once he left, that was it. Boozer pushes with 9 boards, good rally on that one since he only had two I think in the 1st half.
Pacers-Mavericks Total Three Pointers Made Over 11.5 [-115] Not two overly strong three point shooting squads, but they do combine to average right around 12 makes per game. What I like is that both teams have guys capable of streaking and hitting 1/3rd of this total themselves. Pacers have Granger, George, Collison and Hill all capable. Mavs have even more variety with Dirk, Carter, Terry and West. Indiana has been shooting the 3 well, hitting around 39% while Dallas has had trouble closing out on shooters, allowing over 40% in their last five.
Nets Deron Williams Total Points Over 23 [-135] Williams is in a solid streak of scoring with five straight games of 24 or more. I think he has the chance to dominate tonight against Minnesota's smaller back court. Rubio gives up about 30 pounds to him and Ridnour is at about the same disadvantage. Williams should be able to post up on either one and even though both are quick, Williams should be able to get to the rack as the T-Wolves have had troubles shutting down opposing back courts.
Williams with a terrible shooting night and Morrow cannot miss. Threes flowing in Dallas, eight already in the 1st half. Looking for a Nuggets-Lakers prop.
2.5.12
Pacers-Magic Total Three Pointers Made Over 14.5 [-125] Low number here to me all things considered. In two meetings this season, it's been two blowouts ... but the formula is there that Indiana has trouble stopping the Magic 3 point shooters. Orlando has hit 23 of 55 from beyond the arc in those two games. Pacers hit eight in one game and just two in the other. As I highlighted yesterday, this team has very streaky and capable shooters. Paul George making seven threes last night shows that. If Orlando hits Indy for about the average they have this season, Pacers should only need to add 5-6 to give this a shot.
Minnesota Ricky Rubio Total Points + Assists Over 21.5 [-115] Rubio's production generally ties in directly with Minnesota wins and losses. In a 13 point win at Houston, Rubio had 18 pts and 11 assists. In a 15 point to them at home, he had just six points to go with a dozen assists. He has double digit assists in six of his last eight and at least eight assists in 15 of 23 overall. He's averaging right at 11 ppg.
Kings Marcus Thornton Over 17.5 [-115] Thornton returned from injury to put up 20 against Portland. He's averaging 20 ppg at home this season and his importance to the Kings should be seen again tonight. In eight home starts, he's topped 20 five times.
2.6.12
Kings Tyreke Evans Total Points Over 17.5 [-125] Even before Jack got injured for New Orleans, they were getting beat up by opposing PGs. With him out, it's Vasquez and Summers in the backcourt. That should mean some good eating for Evans tonight plus he's on a tear with four straight games of 18 points or more, three of those over 22.
Nuggets Danilo Gallinari Total Points Over 18 [-125] Should be a little more scoring burden on DG tonight with Nene out and Mozgov out. He's scored 20 or better in six of the last nine and this should be a good match-up for him if he is aggressive.
