Be careful betting road teams and the over in the early part of the season this year. You can hallucinate with me and blame the lockout or the condensed schedule for this, but for whatever reason, road teams are averaging almost 5 fewer points per game while home teams are averaging about 3 fewer.

Granted we are barely a few games into the season but 8 points on totals is a very significant drop off. Given the unusual circumstances of this season, it may be something to watch going forward.
