    Not overreacting, they kept soft Gasol and injury-prone Bynum, they are screwed, if they had got Paul, team would be ok, but they didnt, Clips will no doubt finish ahead of them.

    I don't doubt the clips finish ahead of them. Clippers probably win the west. Lakers 2 or 3. They looked good in the first half.

    Lakers look bad. World Peace looks really bad, just as he did last year. Actually Morris looks pretty good for first nba game. He looks just as good as the other guards picked ahead of him.

    They have depth in their front court adding Troy Murphy (who looks healthy this year) and Josh McRoberts. They just need a solid guard who can shoot the three and penetrate now.

    Probably a #4 or #5 seed this year.

    Lakers wont be a true contention for a while i think. They have an aging kobe bryant(with an injury) no phil jackson, are in need of a point guard, and Completely and visibly imploded during the 2011 playoffs. Methinks this will be similar to the early 90's lakers after magic and KAJ left and they had to rebuild. Keep bynum, hes 24 and entering his prime and build it from there. They were on a good run for a while though

    And this packed season is driving up the injury tally... We're only a quarter into the regular season for christ sake

    Because of the Steve Blake injury, theres no doubt in mind they will be in the western conference finals, assuming they dont have to play OKC to get there.

    Remember, they do have a new coach and all, no practice time..and without Steve Blake there outside shooting is atrocious.
