What are you going to do this winter?

    I <3 the NBA

It's by far my best sport to wager... and all these NBA studs are moving overseas and signing longer and longer contracts..

I tried the NFL and went broke. What is a degenerate NBA gambler to do?

Donīt know, man. I love NBA too, itīs my favorite sport to bet on live. But since I currently live in Europe, I will probably sleep like a log every night and maintain proper biorhythm for the first time in years Those west coast games ending at 7 am CET used to be killing me... Still, itīs gonna suck with no NBA, there are tons of money to be made

When it became clear that the NBA was unlikely to be played this season, I started doing my research/modelling for College Football. IMO, it's a much better option than the NFL and is going pretty well so far. The NFL is tough! And now hockey is about to begin so I've been doing my homework for the last month or so.

The NBA is my best sport as well. Can't wait for it to be back..

An agreement will be made soon. Both parties are eager to get the season underway. This 2011/12 season is a wash, but there WILL be a 2012 season. Probably with the greatest draft class in years.

    NBA should:

    shorten the season (65 games?)
cut 4-5 teams (indy, hawks, t wolves, nets)
lower the max contract for single players
GET THIS SH-T DONE WITH ALREADY SO ALL THE STARS DON'T MIGRATE OVERSEAS AND SAY F-CK THE NBA

Just curious why have you included Pacers and the Hawks? Not that they don't suck, but I still think there are even weaker team in the league. What's your criteria?

Fan attendance, ATL has awful sports fans.Pacers fans only show up if their team is winning

noo even without Lebron Cleveland has great hoop fans. They lost almost every game last season and the stadium never looked empty

Very sad indeed...really takes a big chunk out of my annual sports investing profit. Plus, once MLB ends, there will be sport that provides daily investment opportunities....we're all addicted to the daily action to some extent....

60% of my wagering was done on the NBa last year with CBB and NFL making up the other 40. I am crying myself to sleep every night there isn't a new CBa

I love the NBA. It is by far my favorite professional sports league and the easiest of all sports for me to beat. Because of the number of games divided by the number of teams, how they are spread out, etc., it is just easier for me to get an edge. Thanks to DVR's, satellite, and League Pass, I get to watch every game that every team plays. Sure you can do that in the NFL, but with a week between games, injury mysteries, and all the attention paid to the league, there isn't as much room to find advantages for me.

I do enjoy college ball so that will help fill the void. Tennis is sporadic during this time of year so there aren't as many opportunities there. The NHL is fun to watch but I have never had a winning season there unless I just pick very select unders, and that only gives 2-3 plays a week. I really need the NBA.
