    FIBA Africa

    Egypt +241 (against Cameroon).

Actually I am very surprised to see Cameroon as the favourite. Egypt just won Asia cup and they looked really decent. Have not seen Cameroon play but I somehow doubt they are head above.

Any info about missing key players?

Probably everyone is banking on Luc Mbah a Moute. Well one mane does not make a team.

Edit: Just ckecked, looks like Moute is not playing!

    Cote d'Ivoire -15.5

And if your bookie has TT, Cote d'Ivoire will score 80+ points I am sure.

Egypt has no defense at all, they will lose more rebounds and they are not physical. They will be systematically dismantled.

Quite big discrepancies for this game between Bet365 and Pinnacle. Bet365 is more on point here.

Bet365 basically took Pinnacle's line moves and over-adjusted. No book really has any idea what line to set since all of these teams have played 1 or 0 matches so far -- I remember Pinnacle opened all their totals at 144.5.

I am not so sure. Bet365 readjusted by 7 points difference at once? Hard to believe it.

I agree that Pinny can afford market to move lines, since they have low max limit at $280.

TT for is Cote d'Ivoire 86, quite big number. The more I look at this the more I like OVER 150.

Pinnacle isn't even trying to make money from this; they are basically offering these low limit bets for giggles/information.

Ivory Coast/Egypt over looks nice based on the two high scoring matches they played. I watched a little bit of the Egypt/Cameroon game, and whenever Cameroon guys posted up or drove to the basketball, they scored or drew a foul. Don't know how Ivory Coast or any of the other teams play.

    You are right.

I also saw a bit of Cameroon game, they did not like a team but a bunch of individuals. I see they might have hard time beating -45 spread.

Have seen only Nigeria. They will have no problems winning, they will be twice better at post. I know this is no news

[COLOR=#000000 !important] This is my take in the next game>

    FIBA Africa Championship, Preliminary Round

    Cote d'Ivoire vs Egypt
In the recent game Egypt lost to Cameroon 96-81 whilst Cote d'Ivoire won 105-53 against South Africa.
Cote d'Ivoire FG made 31/52 at 59.6 %, this make sense with the fact that their roster made up of a string of excellent talent drawn from french/Ger/Turk pro league & about 3 of them are from NCAA in the states.

    Projection: Cote d'Ivoire 91 Egypt 66

    Take Over 149.5 Points

good luck to every one, including me

    Interesting match tomorrow IMO:

    Chad vs. Morocco

I wonder by how many points Morocco will be favored. If more than +25 I might look at Chad.

Line is 31.5. Also wtf is going on in pba cup? Series is tied but pretty much every game is a blowout.

Chad have almost all local guys and only 2 from USA. On paper looks like a blowout. Morocco is more skilled, but they will not necessarily have an advantage at post. So Chad +31.5 is worth consideration.

Have not watched last PBA games so hard to tell. Only know that some TXT guys are to play for national team soon so they might be conserving themselves.

Big upset by Senegal yesterday against Angola. I've been playing these on the side for points, had not seen your thread till now buddy. Here's mine for the 1st two games tomorrow for whatever it's worth.

    Rwanda-Togo Under 143
Both teams will play their asses off, not wanting to leave without a win. Rwanda played some pretty decent defense last game vs. Tunisia. A little hard to gauge how truly inept the offenses might be as they both played tough opponents in Central Africa & Tunisia, still both really struggled to score.

    Senegal-Chad Under 155
Senegal will be coming off the emotional high of beating Angola and all they need is a simple win to complete their unbeaten run through this group. I think Senegal will come out and build up their lead and then coast through the end of the game with their eyes on a bigger prize. Chad has struggled to get close to 60 and I don't think Senegal hasn't topped 90 yet. They may do that here, but I think they clamp down Chad enough to keep this under. Thought about Chad + the points, but not sure keep it close.

Under looking real good in the Senegal game. First game, Rwanda beat up Togo and it went over. Liking the over @ 140.5 with Tunisia-Central Africa Republic.

Anyone here think CAF have a shot at winning the Tunisia game on the nose ? I think they can as they have a lot of big men - Mind you I thought Toga would trouble Rwanda

Why is Chad playing against Nigeria on quarter finals ? Didn't they lose all 3 games they played ?

Rolling with this one today as my favorite.

    Cameroon -32.5
Big number, but Togo is that poor of a squad. They lost by 47, 35 and 20 yesterday to a previously winless Rwanda squad. Cameroon has looked strong in route to a 3-0 mark in the group stages. They had a double digit lead against a good Ivory Coast squad in their last game before winning by six. Always a chance they let up at the end, but if they come out focused they should build a big lead. Good luck!

Favorite pick for me today @ 8am ET.

    Tunisia-South Africa Under 137.5 [-115]
Tunisia has played some of the stingiest defense in this tournament, not allowing opponents to get past 56 points. Since a big opening game though, the offense has been stagnant as well - not scoring more than 69 points. South Africa doesn't possess the greatest of offenses, so I expect they could struggle to find points and this may should turn into an ugly, low scoring contest. Also think South Africa +30 isn't a bad option, but going to try the total first.
