    Completely agree with you. If Dallas wins the championship, Dirk will be MVP. The only other guy on Dallas that I can see winning it is Jason Terry, but I doubt Terry would get it.

    yeah if Mavs win Dirk will probably get it but the Mavs have a few good people that could get hot for one series putting the mvp up for question.

    There's absolutely no one on that Dallas Roster that could take the MVP away from Dirk. Very interesting point about series odds and MVP odds. Could Miami win the series in 7 games and the MVP still go to Dirk? Odd??? Yes. If Miami wins the series in 7 it would be hard to take the MVP away from any of the BIG 3.

    Nah there's no way someone from the losing team wins finals MVP. The only 2 Mavs that could take it from Dirk are Kidd and Terry, and that just won't happen. There are some chances are there to take Miami -190 and Dirk +200 that seems like free money.

    I think the Heat have an excellent chance to win. Lebron is an under rated defender and either he or Wade will keep up scoring wise with Dirk and the other will compliment with just enough points for the win.

    I am still rooting for DAL though, Go Dirk!!!

    There are a couple of players that could get hot for the series and take it but let's be realistic the only way that Dallas can win the championship is with Dirk being the MVP. He's been the MVP for them the whole playoffs so far and it's not going to change in Finals. Really would like to see Dallas win Dirk deserves to win one. Good Luck

    Scoring the most points in the series will not get the MVP to anyone other than the star of the team.

    I thought this was emphatically rammed home last year when Kobe got the most undeserving Finals MVP in history.

Dirk could help the Mavs take it to a game 7 with poor scoring from his teammates... and have a down to the wire Game 7... Miami edges Dallas... why wouldn't the award go to Dirk? Especially if it's even scoring with D-Wade and King James. It's a long shot... I was just suggesting.


    Also... from the initial post of Dirk +200. Seems like all the books have figured out everyones game plan.... now the best odds on Dirk are at +160
