Yes. Lakers had twice as many throws, killed Dallas on Offensive glass, got solid nights from LO/Pau, got 36 from Kobe, gifted 4 points at half, had a 16 point lead, and they lose at home. Nothing like fluke NO game 1 where NO played perfect and LA horrible.

LA cannot answer to Dallas bench or Dirk, and Dallas is playing Championship D. If they clean up the glass, they win in 6.

I wouldnt say they are done. I expected the Mavs to get game 1 hell the hornets got game 1. But the lakers cant play this mavericks team the way they played against the hornets. The mavs can will win this series tho if the lakers dont win the next 2.

The Lakers always like to extend the drama beyond the need. This time they will pay the price. Dallas is the real deal and once they get mem next round you can book there ticket in the final in a rematch of the heat/mavs final.

The thing people arent understanding is that the lakers cant defend jumpshooting teams. It was proven all year long with losses to teams that can shoot. There advantage in the paint is all fine and mighty but it equals out because of that horrible perimeter defense. In the past the lakers had to win the paint battle but now it is no battle because the teams they are playing dont play like that and besides mem no team is like that. THey will struggle in this series as well and if they manage to sneak out of this series they will struggle versus a team like miami. THe lakeshow have the great inside game but they have no opponent with that counter so they have weak perimeter defenders.

Over-reacting...... What this does mean is dallas is for real and this will be a GREAT series. Lakers have to put it together; but if they can beat boston with shooters like pierce and allen they can beat dallas or miami. It's just not a done deal like previous years.

I think Phillip shipped in the rotations. This is the playoffs. You don't sit people down just because we have been doing it that way all year. Some guys need to play 5 more minutes in the playoffs. They can rest in the offseason. The zen master lost it for them.
