    Can Memphis Beat OKC?

Can Memphis beat OKC in the series? Something tells me they can, and I'm curious what the line will be for the Grizz/Spurs series.

I think the Grizz have a great chance of getting past the Thunder. Both teams matchup pretty well with each other. I think Battier and Allen can give Durant and Westbrook problems with their defense. ZBo vs Ibaka should be a great match up as well.

they'll cover a few games, but Thunder advance

hard price to predict, I'll say Thunder will be slightly more favored than the first round.......-260 or so

I've got futures for OKC hanging in the balance but something tells me this will be a great series. I believe the Grizz won the regular season series 3-1, so I expect close games all the way through.

I think it will come down to:

    1. Can Tony Allen and Battier disrupt Durant and Westbrook. I'd expect Tony Allen to guard Durant and Westbrook at times. And Battier will matchup with Durant when he is in.

    2. ZBo vs Ibaka. Zbo doesn't get much lift off the ground when he shoots, so I think Ibaka will have some nice blocks on Zbo, but I don't know if he can deal with the physicality of Zbo.

There are some real intriguing matchups in this series.

Ibaka has taken his game to another level and will be able to match Randolph-he matches up much better than anyone SA threw at Z-Bo. Any of those rediculous fall-away jumpers will get blocked by Ibaka.

Memphis did take 3 of 4 between the teams in the regular season, so they can obviously play with OKC. It will be interesting to see how the teams play emerging from their first round series-Denver seemed to be a much better opponent than San Antonio was.

Memphis will be a tough team for Okla. City. The series price should be less than -2.00. Okla caught a break playing the #8 seed-but Memphis playing as well as any Western Conf. team.

I'd be shocked if it was this high. Grizz are on a crazy ats run. After beating Spurs and clearly looking like the better team the whole series, I would expect them to get more respect. Weigh this against the OKC hype train, the homecourt advantage and I would guess you get -185 for the series.

I think Memphis can steal game 1 or 2 in OKC. And I can't picture any team going into Memphis and winning in their building. The Grizzlies are all about hustle, and that crowd fuels them.

I'm hedging my OKC wins West bet with Griz wins this series bet. It'll be a very interesting 7-game series, imho, between two young and hungry teams.

I think people want OKC to win, but fate has other plans for the Griz. Something tells me this is their year.

i think that is a wise choice to hedge. I would hedge half now and then
after OKC wins a game, hedge the other half. Because if OKC wins game 1
the line will head higher and become cheaper for you to hedge.

Although I won with them, I was not impressed with OKC's play vs Denver.
Rather I should say I was not impressed with their intensity and offensive
coordination. Ibaka was great, but Westbrook sometimes was an offensive
liability with his shot hogging. Westbrook needs to keep Durantula as the
primary shotmaker, not himself. This being said, Memphis has a swarming
wear-you-down defensive style that could create confusion for OKC. The
Grizzles may be able to force OKC into settling for poor shots.
There is no way I would put heavily juiced money on OKC to win this series.
I was far more impressed with the Grizz in series 1 than with OKC.

The way Memphis played the Spurs I can seem them beating the Thunder. I don't think it will happen though. Thunder in 6 IMO.

There's no real answer for KD on Memphis, unless Tony Allen locks him up. KD is the key, and they'll win the series.

Should we play Memhpis every game too? Since they did so well ATS with San Antonio? I already got them for game one +6.5. Hope they play strong. But I need Okl City to win the series...

I think the over is more of a sure thing than memphis ats, but I'm betting both tomorrow. +6.5 and o195.5. I don't see how you cannot take the over in game 1 when they've broke 200 5 times in a row playing each other and average more than 195.5 together this year.

Durant and westbrook are going to get plenty of good looks, while randolph and gasol are going to dominate the paint. This game reeks of over in my opinion.
