Alright guys we are leaving Daytona after a decent opening week and headed for the early season west coast swing starting out in Cali this weekend at Auto Club Speedway. I have always loved this racetrack, but pretty sure after this race they are turning it into a short track for next season so that will be interesting. But for this weekend its still the D-Shaped 2 miler. This weekend we should start to see what teams and drivers are meshing well to start the regular racetracks. I pretty much stick to the same 4-5 names here just depends on the odds each year. This isnt the racetrack that produces many surprises, its usually the same handful of guys that live up front here.


On Saturday we have a busy day with Xfinity practice/Qualifying at noon, followed by Cup series practice/Qualifying session starting at 2pm. Then at 5pm the Xfinity race will start things off for the race weekend. All Saturday events will be airing on FS1. The Cup race will be held on Sunday afternoon at 3:30pm and will be airing on the main FOX channel.

I’m am not going to sleep on Creed, Hill and RCR. I think RCR got a big driver upgrade this year and the RCR and Kaulig connection gives me confidence that RCR can be legit contenders based on what we saw from Kaulig last season. Creed and Hill were both +2000. Too high to pass.

Hill is +2700 and Creed +3200 at BAS if you can deposit there Mink. BAS has better odds than Bovada on a lot of drivers this week in both series.

Jay I use Bovada for the Gibbs/Larson style parlays. I don’t see them available on BAS but maybe that opens up on the weekend.

None that I know of Andy. At least trustworthy ones. Learner still plays offshore and those are only 2 books I know he uses. I had bol years ago b4 legal here, but wasn't much offered there and odds were trash.

Buescher had some strong showings on high wear tracks last year. Took a small bet on him to win and Top 3 (around 150 and 30). May add Reddick for the same reason, although odds aren't quite as good as I hoped for.

Indycar heads off this weekend as well. Looks like Andretti is the team to beat. Rossi could be worth a shot
