    Rugby and league 2011

All things rugby union and rugby league

    France -2.5

France vs Ireland, Ireland struggled with Italy last week as France breezed through Scotland even tho there defence was sus. -2.5 spread is good enough to play

    St George -2.5

    St George vs South Sydney

Rabbithos missing alot of big names for this game due to injury or all stars match, Sam burgess, Greg inglis, Issac Luke, Micheal crocker, luke stuwart, Nathan merit and david Taylor, there only real threats come from wesser and sandow.

Dragons retain abit of experience with Boyd, gasnier, Cooper, nightingale, weyman, Scott and creagh with only real losses coming from Morris and soward but fiens kicking isn't too shabby.

The only thing i don't like about this match is that it's a charity event and that sometimes causes players to slow down and relax abit. Rabbits have also won the last 4 charity games. Dragons is the only play I see tho

    Beni

What do you think of the over/under in the Souths v Dragons????...

Currently line set at 38.5 pts....Seems low to me considering Souths games can turn into a real shootout where they can turn on alot of points or allow the opposition to score plenty...

There last 20 games vs each other the average is around 47.6, usually in the charity events they throw the ball around and are more relaxed on d, I'd say the over would be the play if anything, I won't be playing it tho, Bol

    Stg George -2.5 WIN

Went to plan, very very messy tho, they are really going to miss costigan and jerermy smith this season, these new forwards don't know how to hold the ball, at $5.50 to win the comp I still think that there in with a shot

    England to win 6 nations

Going to play England, there looking the best at the moment, after seeing France play on the road I can't see them winning. England will go on to beat France next week at twickenham, Scotland the following week then Irish over in Ireland. France are the only real threat, they always seem to nudge me.

Jeremy Smith will be a massive gain for the Sharks.

Gallen, Smith, Topou, Douglas, Snowden. One of the best if not the best pack in the game this year imo.

Sharks to make the 8 is the best future bet i can see on the league.

    What are your opinions?

Backs still suck. They lost 18-0 in the trial with Manly. They will improve but making the 8 is pretty risky. You'd rather back other outsiders like the Cowboys, Warriors and Knights.

Sharks will make an improvement, I wouldn't back them for top eight tho. Raiders and knights could be promising, dougan is going to be fire this season. If I had a spare 100k I'd chuck it on the dragons for top eight ha, easy 22k

D Boyd ( saints ) for dally M at $21 is worth a shot. Dugan like you said I think is a real chance allso.

Might be down in wellys for the match so thought I'd bet it, would usually stay off.
All stats point towards highlanders but I've got a feeling the canes will tip them, with cruden, nonu, Conrad, gear, Jane and Julian in the backline I can see them breaking thru the line enough to cover

Thinking hard about blues over the crusaders, blues are going to have a huge turnout for Eden park, there forward pack is very solid, I don't like Stephan Brett coming up against someone like Carter tho. Crusaders are down richie and sonny bill but the squad still looks dangerous

You seriously don't see Ireland as a threat to England?, The same Ireland who have won 7 out of the previous 10 meetings and the last 3/3 in Ireland, Don't be fooled by their poor start to the Six Nations they won't lose two home games at Aviva Stadium.

Worst game of rugby I've seen in awhile, about 20 errors in the first half alone, nonu getting a yellow card and then a red, was pretty much a man down the whole game haha. Some dude had his dog tied up outside and his 2year old kid with him at the bar lol
