2-year-old filly champion Folklore has been pulled out of training on the West Coast and likely will miss the Kentucky Oaks in May. They didn't say what type of injury she has, but after running 3rd in her 3-year-old debut at 1-9 against a field she should have crushed indicated something was wrong.
She was the 2nd choice behind the field in the Kentucky Oaks future wager in Pool 1. Story on DRF said they're pointing for a summer campaign. Sometimes Lukas will rush horses back for big races, but not likely here. The next future pool is the first weekend in March, so Folklore likely will be off the board.
