i thought i was watching the extended trailer for a new jurassic park movie - or the chronicles of narnia.
turns out that kazan is a real place. go figure.
so i did some research. it's halfway between the breakaway soviet state of kalashnikov and the former persian province of carpetsan.
i'm booking my tickets now.
