    Question about dead heat rules in golf.

    In golf group betting for 72 holes if there are 2 players tied at end of tourney do you use final round score to break tie and determine winner of group?

    I thought dead heat rules meant you win half your bet at original odds and lose the other half if two players are tied.

    Whats the point of betting 72 holes if the final round lowest score determines the winner?

    Played Fowler to win group against 4 other players for 72 hole score. He tied Garcia at 15 under. Garcia won group bet because he shot 1 stroke better in final round.

    All ways read the fine penetrating print.
