My sportsbook is taking bets for these e-sports. Such as Starcraft II, League of Legends, Dota etc...


It seems fairly unorthodox of a bet, but what are you experiences with this?

And what is your strategy when you do bet?

I've bet Starcraft 2 since the first tournament Pinnacle offered lines on it.

Most lines move like crazy after release, if you pay attention to the Starcraft 2 scene it is generally pretty easy to predict who the public is going to bet and then take advantage of the movement if you think there is value on the other side. SC2 bettors in my opinion tend to be prisoners of the moment, for example, if a player has won their last two series and is playing a player that is generally considered to be of a similar skill level they will be favoured by the public and bet heavily, riding the momentum.

The sport is very volatile in its nature and massive upsets do occur but I do bet it because I pay attention to player's past results, performances, team house environment, coach etc.

^Very interesting article. That guy made some nice cash. But that guy was way more immersed in the scene than I am, considering the fact he was a pro player.
