    I'm looking at making a decent play on Green Moon to place.

    I'm not sure what I'll be on, but it won't be green moon.

    Burnt me in the cox plate and pulled up sore. Wasn't impressed at all.... big question marks over the distance, but from a good stable, so probably wouldn't be in this race if couldn't stay.

    I quite like Dunaden... its rare I like the favourite in this race.

    Yeah I know he has been running poorly but I think he'll make a solid impact.

    Dunaden is looking nice but at 59kg i dont know if he can pull it out...

    Red Cadeaux/Mount Athos both not been running in Aus, I reckon one of them will have a solid run.

    Watch out for Americain/Maluckyday if its a dry track. Both need some softness underfoot.

    Red Cadeaux can't win IMO.

    Mt Athos and Dunaden are my two top picks for tomorrow.

    Weight is less of a factor tomorrow and is being played up a LOT. Bottom weight has been steadily increasing the last few years (and is now 50kg, compared to 47kg). That fact is something everyone is overlooking...

    Thanks pal. Makes me wonder if the public can be faded some way in the Melbourne cup.

    Did you hear about the lady first time bettor put 8c on the first 4 on sportsbet.com.au and won 77k? Unreal.

    I gave all my Melb Cup winnings (approx $790) to World Vision, sponsored a child for a year and donated the rest. Feels really good.

    Got buried yesterday... but didn't bet big - never bet big on the cup. We had a boxed trifecta that missed because of Jackalberry... ffs. One horse I never thought was a chance at even placing...

    Yeah the cup in my eyes is definitely a social gamble, the beautiful thing was just the odds on Green Moon made the pay outs huge. Thats unlucky about the boxed tri. I didn't expect any of the other horses to place, was really an insane race. Bookies all booked first class tickets to Hawaii after that race.

    Very nice realdeal!

    I can't believe Green Moon could put in such a howler and then produce a week later. Wish I had've stuck with it, but was happy to just let the race go this year.
