Just wondering what my options were in regards betting on U.S ponies. Am i correct in the assumption that the old tried and true books (Pinny, Cris etc) are the way to go. I am under the impression that they book the bet and pay track odds, is this correct? Also do i have the ability to take fixed prices pre-post anywhere? Or is it all determined on track?
P.S I have Betfair, my locals etc so just wondering how you approach it, options is the key word here. Thanks
Most books take horse racing bets and book the bets and payoff at what the payoff is at the track ... I don't know of any that you can lock in at a fixed prepost price ... Most offer some form of rebate ... Other than taking the bets, they offer very little in related services like results or video.
Try youbet.com ... They are based in California and have everything you need ... Bets are comingled with the host track ... Reliable service offering everything ... results, video, replays etc
