his attempts on the turf are far from bad and jose ortiz not going to stay aboard for this trainer when he can ride one for ww

won on the front end of a very fast pace at two levels below..only two other races at this track were 2nds (not in his last 10 races) so obviously likes it up here ..had a month to rest and recover


R3 #4 ubiquitous (6-1)

3rd career start and caught a very good field in his debut at gulfstream in january..respectable effort off layoff last out here and could see improvement 2nd out..be a nice tally for the trainer whose had an awful meet


R4 #2 fort drum (15-1)

broke her maiden 2nd start as a 2yo and this is her 3rd start..obviously something went wrong between then an now but on the other hand they did decide to run her here..tyler one of the better turf jocks

cost a lot for the specs and a nice set up race for the stretchout..lemon drop kid stamina dam sire ..jose ortiz for rosario

a loaded field but will have to stick with exp/specs angle..there are some very impressive pedigrees amongst the debuters in this race..of those 4 (7-2) and 8 (4-1) are my favorites but they will be no secret

within a few lengths of a scorching pace last out..two back effort would get it done..irad for luis

for the most part a middle distance turf horse although did run in this race last year when it was run at belmont (ran evenly) .. it's lengthened a furlong here and with her european pedigree she may like the added ground ..the even race last out in the diana last out may set her up nice for this
