Ugh I’m having one of those days at Belmont of good picks and wrong bets had I skipped the pick 6 and say bet the pick 5 i would be alive with a good chance or had I just started a pick three in race 6 with the same horses I would have spent $16 and gotten back over $3200.

I should have rebet pick 5 when my pick 6 died but that’s gets costly because when do you stop

There are just days when you are completely wrong and you just rebet your pick 6 as a pick 4 or pick 5 and lose and then chase the late double and lose then there are the days where you just have one wrong race and wish you rebet everything possible.

I guess the question is should I be excited about my possible 5/6 consolations since 5/6 pays or cry over the $42,000 pick 5 probable hahaha.

Saddest thing is the horse I missed so far was the post time favorite. Reminds me of some other pick 6s where I had the 45-1 horse but not the 8-5 horse hahaha.

I think the pick 6 is a horrible bet until it builds up to a big pool.. understand it's a 20 cent base bet but it's highly unlikely they'll be 1 winning ticket and the juice is absolutely outrageous.. they're carrying forward 25% of the days take if nobody has a single and then the pick 6 take on top of that which I'm guessing is mid to low 20's.. I'd stick to 3's and 5's
