JBEX, what do you think of #2 R1 @ Laurel Park. Hasn't shown much on dirt at all, but from Kitten's Joy, workouts seem alright and high percentage barn and picks up the leading jockey this year at 10-1 ML?

I take the general position with these types that once they are sold for such a small amount at auction I pay less attention to the pedigree.. if I was to consider her I'd want to see a sign of life on the dirt. mid pack, fade early to middle.. not an obvious good race.. understand trainer and jock solid and first start with this trainer.. also trainer excellent of the layoff.. for me though no good with the other stuff


I'd go #8 melisande (12-1)


belmont effort as a 2yo fits well here.. last sprint a nice prep to stretch.. jock had a $92 winner riding for this trainer and it was on the turf

other one interesting to me is #4 Mayan queen (6-1)..checks a lot of boxes trainer, jockey, pedigree reasonably spotted and has shown some life earlier in the year/late last year.. only a 3yo so room for development

amazing lol. .drifted up to 10-1 after being as low as 3-1 and wires em..winds up going off at ml..definitely interesting I'm that she was 3-1 at one time even with ped trainer jock considerin dirt form..understand its a different surface but with what she cost I like a little life on the dirt..we made up a nice triple with the 3 of ours $227 for 50 cents

thanks.. I believe the reason a horse like that drifts up so much is the simulcast money hits last and that of course is a large majority of the pool.. they're probably playing that horse at the track
