so normally i bet the minimum. $2 win (1st) $2 place (2nd) $2 show (3rd). You'll notice 3 prices next to the winner (win, place, show), 2 prices next to 2nd place (place, show), 1 price next to 3rd place (show)..

so this is a conservative way of playing as im willing to win a little less by being able to cash if my horse comes in 2nd or 3rd.

best bets for me im going 5x on these plays, so instead of $2 across ($6) im going $10 across ($30)
