I had a .90 cent pick 4 ticket at Emerald Downs (July 26) race 4 thru 7 that had 1,3,4,7 with, 2,4,5 with,1,4,6, with, 2,6

The winning pick 4 combination was 4-5-4-7. Nobody had the winning combination at the track, so it paid 3 out of 4 consolations of $109.50 for .50 cent tickets. Since I had two .90 cent tickets that had 3 out of 4 correct (4-5-4-2 and 4-5-4-6), I should receive $394.20. It's in their rules that they pay consolations, and they have paid me many times when there has been a 2 out 3 consolation on pick 3's. They have always been really good about properly paying, as I have been playing there for years. But for some reason, the manager won't pay this out, even though the rules clearly state they pay consolations that the track pays out. His reason? He doesn't see any results where they pay the 2, 6 or all in the final leg. After my shock at this ridiculous comment, I explained to him that there would be so many numbers that they simply say 3 out of 4, but this doesn't seem to make sense to him. I can't believe something so obvious would elude him. There is no issue of past posting here, this ticket was played 10 minutes before the race, and is time stamped.

I would like to file a formal complaint here at SBR, but I don't know how to do it, so if someone on the staff at SBR could help me, I'd appreciate it. I have ticket #'s, and all things that would be needed. This is in clear violation of their own rules that they are not paying me.

When I told him this, he dug in, and stated that pick 3 consolations show results like 8/4/all, 8/all/4 and all/4/8 being paid. When I tried to explain to him they don't typically show every consolation verbatim on pick 4's (because their are more permutations with 4 legs) he just dug in and said he needs to see all, 2 or 6 being paid in the last leg.

This is even more shocking to me, because their racebook has been practically perfect with me for the last 3 years. I've hit pick 3's for 7k that the funds were credited to my account in 5 minutes, so it's not the $394 that is the issue with them. I think, sadly, that this racebook manager truly does not understand how track payoffs work.

Good luck getting paid. Always dicey betting pick 3's and 4's offshore at tracks that have small pools.

opened a clear margin into the lane and
held sway to the wire. GRACEFUL MINOU
was never far back, raced wide through the turn, reached a striking position in
mid-
stretch but failed to gain on the winner late. CHESS QUEEN broke sharply to
press the pace of the winner from the outside and

I HAVE BEEN PAID IN FULL.

James, the day racebook manager called me on the phone, and said after reviewing the situation, that I am supposed to be paid, and they put the money in my account. Apparantly, I was dealing with the overnight manager on the graveyard shift who was not as adept at his job.

I have learned that any future wagering disputes that arise after midnight EST for west coast night racing, just wait until the next day, and talk to the day manager, who knows what he is doing.
