Analysis: #7 Crea's Law was bumped coming out of the gate and made a mild late rally to finish third last out at this level in his first start off a six month layoff. The winner of the race was Coaltown Legend, who came back to $14K claimers in his next start. The fifth place finisher One Note Samba was also a next out winner, taking a state bred Alw-1 race on July 27. The colt was good enough to mix it up in state bred stakes after breaking his maiden last September here and should be fitter for his second start off the bench for the Pletcher barn.

#6 Green Monster came up short on the turf last out in his first go against state breds after missing beating open Alw-1 optional claimers two back off a four month break at Calder in a photo. The gelding moves to the main track here as he goes from Wolfson to the Margolis barn that has been cold at the meeting (0 for 13). The gelding is a half to stakes winner Turnofthecentury ($474K).
