Does anyone really think wagering on the future derby pools is a good wager? If so how do you handicap this for value. Im just thinking to do longshots in the last pool next year.
The BEST chance to DOUBLE your investment in the KDFW pools is in Pool #1 (February) .... bet the "all other 3 year olds"........70 % of you wager. Then do 10 % of your wager on three (3) different individual entries that you like.
Forget about Pool 2 and and Pool 3 ... because by then some of the horses in the Pool #1 "all other three year olds" are now individual entries.
Better to wait and bet your plays on Advance wagering day or on Derby Day...at least with those wagers if your horse is scratched, you get a refund.
