    Not sure where to post...

But with Real betting sites, do they take out a % each bet? or any fees? I've never bet with real cash and just wondering how it works... Since I'm doing pretty decent on here with picks..

Sorry if its a wrong place to post..

u usually have to pay 10% "juice" thats a fee bokkies charge on a standard even line, at least "locals" do...Offshore bookies do the same, unless u take underdog, then u GET more then u lay....for instance(+100) means u get even $100 for a hundred layed...+120 means u get $120 for your 100 layed, and -120 or watever is how much u NEED to lay to win a hundred for instance...Hope this helps

There's no fees for bets won for example if you bet $500 on a +100 play you win $500. Not like the books take a $3 rake for example. The only fees you should encounter is when you cash out.

Fees for cheques, wires etc. Most times if you do a DBT there isn't a fee.

Hmm so you are saying not really any fees then... just you get less cash if you bet on the favorites is what xkgb is saying?

Yeah -120 you bet $120 to win $100 etc. Those are just the lines though, there's no fee associated with bets you make. It's not like poker when you win a pot the dealer takes a rake.

Yes, there are, but if you are just starting I would not worry about the max, minimums are super low, around $5.00, so hopefully you don't have to worry about that. Sorry, usually not a wise ass, but a couple of beerssss, you know. Whish I had Strange Brew on blue ray.

exactly m8...there are no "fees" only lines u need to be aware of...If u bet a favorite to win, you would most likely have to lay more money down then you would collect if u win that bet...Like u mentioned, if the line is -120, that means you would have to lay $120 to win a $100, or if u were betting different amounts you just have to calculate the amount in play by looking at the lines and figuring out whether u betting a favorite or the underdog, for instance +140 bet means you are picking an underdog which would pay u 40% more in return if u win that bet(other amounts are calculated the same way, if u bet $200 on +140 line , u stand to win $280 back($200+40% of $200 which is $80) I hope this clears it up for u bud

i've seen many books accept plays as low as $1.00, only you need to deposit a minimum of $20 into your sportsbook account before u can actually bet
