Could happen if price ends up being the best goaltender in the nhl.

In fact many hockey analysts here in montreal picked vancouver to win the cup. They have a hell of team.
But hey Montreal is winning so...

I'd go with MON, then VAN but I have to say I'm highly impressed with the turnaround in OIL country. Must be five or six straight wins or taking games to shootouts against reasonable opposition. Happy to say they definitely have a bright future. Cheers

The Oilers have been winning right from the very moment I put them on a black list for permanently burning my money
Montreal´s got a tradition and everything, but I think the Canucks are wilder and more dangerous when Sedins start beasting around.

Vancouver's not going anywhere in the playoffs like usual, while it wouldn't surprise anyone if Montreal made a good run.

allright allright DG about Vancouver right ? - what I am trying to say is this: 1st: I truly believe they played better last season; 2nd VAN = the only Canadian team that has room for improvement based on the quality of players /coach /goalie /experience they have. 3rd they should be #1, they should get better results home & away, we should count on them game after game (to make some cash without sh*tting bricks)and expect them to go for the cup without disappointments. To keep it short, they can do much better and I have no idea how to send them a telepathic message to tell them that! About the rest of the teams, they are what they are and we can't ask for more. (Like MTL reaching MAX high last season)

: my current opinion only, things might change

VAN is deep on defense, both offensively and defensively and have two legitimate scoring lines, all this happening while Burrows still hasn't found his timing from last season with the Sedin brothers. Kesler is the quintessential second line centre every NHL team would kill for, and if they just get one more winger to play with him with a better scoring touch than Raymond, that line would be amazing. The only real problem is Luongo is proving himself to be a very, very mediocre goaltender.

As for MTL, while Price is showing why the team had so much faith in him, the loss of Markov and the lacklustre scoring from the top two lines on MTL hurts them badly. When Roman fukking Hamrlik is your best offensive defenseman on the ice because Subban is being scratched for being a douchebag, you're going to have problems.

CGY, EDM, TOR, and OTT are not even in the discussion.
