Hi Guys,

I have an NHL system that I've been using for the last two seasons that has been hitting around 80% winners. I'm not going to get into the details of the system at this point but I'd like you all to check out my plays starting today and see for yourself.

The system is simple but quite selective and averages one or two plays per day. No chasing involved, you either win or lose.

Anyhow, the picks for today are:

Boston ML +110 or PL -270
NY Islanders ML +135 or PL -220

Note, feel free to parlay the two using the pucklines to avoid the heavy juice.

So what is the play, the ML or PL??? You can't give both and say "pick one"!!!!!!!! Otherwise some people might win and some people might lose, if 1 or both of these are 1 goal games.

iceguy is right vinny. I was thinking the same. Your system has to pick them on the ML or PL. I want to track your picks to see if you have something here, but it must be one or the other.

That's his system.... you have 4 choices. Pick 1. If atleast 1 wins he wins. Hence the 80%

skeptical is the word, not cranky. Skeptical because their are a lot of guys making money selling their picks and they don't hit anywhere close to 80%. If you are going to use that percentage around here, you should probably back it up with prior plays.

Fair enough isg. The biggest problem with most bettors is they make too many bets in too many different sports. I only bet hockey and I only make bets that meet a specific criteria. 80% winners in one season is very doable.

70% might be doable picking 3 to 1 favorites.
so that way you would only lose 2 units every 10 plays picking 70% (-9 +7)
At 80% you would be + 2 Units and you won't come close to 80%.
Now 3/2 & 2-1 favorites will kill your percentage winners.

You absolutely will not come close to an 80% winning money percentage.
Making outrageous claims, only gets people to criticize you.
You will take a beating after the first few plays.

The way I interpret it though, is to pick Boston and the Isles to win.

Those are his plays.

If you are nervous about it though, just take the two dogs +1 1/2.

Higher juice on the PL, but it's a safety play in case they lose by one.

I don't think this is that complicated, and there's no reason to be skeptical.

He picked Boston and New York to win.

Actually he said to use the money line on favorites and the puck line on Dogs.
Since he has two dogs tonight he must be recommending the puck line plays

I believe he states for those of us that don't want to lay that 2.7/1 on Boston + 1.5 pucks then we should parlay the two dogs. (Tough to do when he picks one game or what do we do with one dog and 1 favorite or indeed if there is ever three games?)

This may be a lesson in confusion not explained!

Absolutely agreed I was merely point out that winning 80% is not all it is cracked up to be if you pick heavy favorites and that if indeed he picks dogs like he did tonight he won't come close to 80%

And I assume the system does not take into account injuries? Krejci is out for Boston. Sure, Boston can win, but I can tell you that line of +110 for Boston has zero value or edge with their most valuable offensive player missing.

Alright, 2-0 to start off. I was hoping the Islanders would pull off the outright victory but still hit my parlay so don't complain, right? Anyhow, on to the next plays. I've reviewed tomorrows games and it looks like there there are two more which meet my system criteria. The picks are as follows:

Atlanta ML -120
Vancouver PL -300

Can you explain how this works as you had posted 4 choices and depending on which way people went they could be 1-1 based on both plays ML, 2-1 ML + parlay or 2-0 PL. Thanks
