    Hockey Best Bets - Thursday 3/27/2008

    I will do a daily recap of each days action. 10 units is the max/game.

    Sorry but i will not count parlays, only straight up selections.

    unit size will be the risk amount

    if you risk 2u on +150; gain 3u if win, down 2u if loose.
    if you risk 2u on -130; gain 1.54u if win, down 2u if loose.

    j$ so you think devils will finally win against the rangers this season huh ? i had them for last weeks game which they lost in the shootout. Ill be taking them again so nice to see your siding with them as well and for a 10u play as you have a good track record when you bet 10u's from what Ive been noticing. Cept for the san jose puck line the other night. Which again was a joke of a game. Anyways GL.

    Well folks I'm going to change up on my posts. 2 new rules for me on betting the NHL.

    1. I will NEVER EVER again take a road favorite. I had SJ the other night vs. Phx, and Chicago last night.

    2. I will only bet 1 NHL game. Too many times I bet 4 or 5 and end up 1-4 or 0-5.

    So for tonight i am going with San Jose at home vs. dallas (-145) Even tho Dallas plays a strong game at SJ (6-0 last 6 to SJ) seems like the trade with TB has not panned out yet. I expect Nabokov to come back strong. It will be close and low scoring but SJ is my choice.

    8.7 units

    Thanx for the comments.. yes u gotta think jersey is tired of Rangers shit this year (6 in a row). I think jersey goes off tonight and actually starts scoring behind Brodeur. Not bad value at +120 seeing there evenly matched. After seeing the way the Rangers played Phili the other night i gotta take Jersey.

    Dallas seems like good value too
