Seriously as a Chicago fan I didn't like the way they finished up the season. I think they peaked too soon earlier in the year and I don't think they can turn a switch and turn it back on. They didn't show up in that 3rd period and were totally outworked and outskated in the period. I think the Hawks have been reading their press clippings too much. That giveaway by Brower(sp?) near the blueline was inexcusable and giftwrapped the go ahead goal for Nashville. I knew it was over after that.

Also with the way the playoffs are going it might not be that far fetched to see an 8 seed win this whole thing.

I only caught the end of that game, that stretch right before the Preds 2nd goal was brutal for Chicago. It looked like they didn't even touch the puck for like two minutes, then when they did finally get possession, he passed it to the Nashville player for a breakaway.

Tough game for the blackhawks... Hopefully they will turn it around! But I don't think they will be sweeped!

This was pretty much a spitting image of the Washington/Montreal game where the home team outclassed the visitor through 2 periods but had nothing to show for it. Yeah that Brouwer giveaway was brutal, but the Blackhawks would have had 5 or 6 goals if they had been capitalizing on their scoring opportunities. They'll win the next one though, just like Washington.
