    So this is interesting...

How does the NHL determine which team earns the Presidents Trophy between Flordia and Colorado if they happened to tie?

Going back through their schedule they split their regular season series 1-1

"If two teams are tied for the most points, then the Trophy goes to the team with the most regulation wins." As per Google.

They can literally have the exact same amount of points and regular season wins.

It is unlikely because of Flordia's last 2 games compared to Colorado but still a possibility...

If two or more teams are tied in points after the regular season, the first tiebreaker is the team that has the most regulation wins. The second tiebreaker is team that has the most wins in regulation and overtime. The third tiebreaker is team that has the most wins of any kind.

Overtime Records for both this season are -
    Colorado 10-7
    Florida 16-6
Shootout Records for both this season are -
    Colorado 4-2
    Florida 3-4

If they were tied today (which they are not), Colorado would win because Colorado would have 5 more regulation wins than Florida. Florida has 19 Overtime / Shootout wins vs. Colorado's 14 Overtime / Shootout wins.
