I'm thinking the over is too good to be true? 2/3 games this year have gone over this year? I don't trust the spread, could easily be a 1 goal game. I'm not sure if I should just sit this one out. What do ya'll think?
my early lean would be col and the under but ill also mention that these 2 teams are on my "tread lightly" list as ive taken quite a few right in the eye from both teams this season.

I agree, Colorado and Over just seem like the absolute best plays for tonight's one and only game.
also agree on the avs
I would stay away from this game. I am thinking Colorado gets the win, but with the Olympic layoff, the game could be "extra" unpredictable.
if you MUST play, I would not lay more than 1-2 units.
I like the Avs too, but not sure I'll play something since it's so close after the Olympic break..
I think this game could go either way. All the players that were in the tourny that play for the Red Wings have had a few days rest or at least most of them and hell I do not think that anyone from the av's went to ther tourny. So they have had time to work on things and get well rested. In my opinion this game is a teeter tooder with a small kid on either side and we are watching to see which one can push down harder.

Stastny is going to give the Avs a lift with his new shiny silver medal. As an Avs fan this is going to be the only time I am going to cheer for Rafalski.
I agree that this game is too unpredictable with the long layoff that we've just had. If it were not these two teams I might make a play but this one is begging to be left alone.
Keep in mind DET is battling hard for a playoff spot now, and they have been in the playoffs 20 years straight now. I'm sure they don't want to ruin that

A lot of Wings played in the Olympics and this is a NHL league game.
Not the same emotionally.
And also don't forget who coached the canadian team to win gold.. Mike babcock.. The red wings coach..don't u guys think he's gonna b all hyped up to continue the remaining season to make the most out of it!! Think about who u guys going against..det got their full line up ready to go..no injuries., so I do expect red wings to get the job done tonite and move closer to the playoff seat..

i made a big mistake taking Colorado, they suck!
I am very happy that Detroit pulled one out here just wish I would have pulled the trigger.
