    Newbie question: Hockey stat terminology

I'm looking at game statistics at http://www.cbssports.com/nhl/gamecen...091215_PHI@PIT and wonders what some of the terms means.

Specifically these:+/-, PPT, SHT, SHF and FW/FL

    Thanks.

+/-: Players get a + when on the ice for a goal for their team; a minus when on for a goal against; it only counts for even-strength goals

PPT: I'm guessing Power Play Time

SHT: I'm guessing Short Handed Time

    SHF: Shots For?

FW/FL: Faceoffs Won/Faceoffs Lost-- I'm sure about that one

Hope this somewhat helped & GL

I don't know all these either but check NHL.com, they have a good stats section.
