Obvious pick tonight: Canucks going to continue winning vs a tired Rangers

I like Canucks to finish off the rangers in regulation time at odds 2.50.

    - john Tortorelli back in the garden.
    - Booth is playing well and Canucks have two producing top lines.
    - Back to Back for Rangers after a bad lost to Bruins.
    - Vancouver is better away then home this year.
    - I like the depth of canucks, and all lines seem to have find their way into the system.
    - Rangers coming back from a long road trip.

Exact score predict: 4 - 2 to Vancouver.

I think it will be a little bit closer than that. If they still had the same coaches, I would say Vancouver for sure. But NY will have that extra boost even though it's a B2B because they want to show Torts how they could have played. Tough game to cap. I also add the fact that Van has unable to string a few wins in a row in the last 10 games. Could just be another blip just like the Columbus game. It's also confirmed that Talbot, the backup, is in net. And knowing Vancouver, they'll make him look like an all star. I expect a close game.

Any more input on this? Thinking hard about this one.

If you're going to argue that the reason the Rangers are going to play strong is because Torts is back... then why not also say that the Canucks will play hard because they want to impress Alain....

The players don't give a **** about their previous coach.

Not a valid argument on your part.

New York is tired. Canucks off a spark from their offensive explosion in Ottawa.

If you're going to bet against the Canucks, look for tomorrow against the Canes. That one might pay very well, and Lack should be in net. Canucks will be tired and it's another early game for them.

    Canucks win today against Rangers.

I don't know where you are coming from, but yes, it does make a difference. I'm sure there are some players on the NY team that didn't like Torts.

NY is tired, I already mentioned that. But you can also get a little bit of adrenaline when you have some more motivation just like anything. Motivation can go along way.

I think the more obvious game tonight will be PHOENIX over CHICAGO. Chicago is a long road trip, 7th road game and in 11 days with tonight being a back to back. Phoenix well rested the last couple days. PHO in regulation.

Forgot to add, Chic won on a SO in the 11th round. So they're up late, and tired. and then off from Dallas to Phoenix. Not a long flight, but still, I would be exhausted.

Vancouver is just terrible today. Everything started by goalie didn't stop pucks, stupid giveaways in defensive zone.
Coach will kill someone in 2nd period break.

I went with Canucks, but I guess the downtrend continue. I hate betting on Canucks cause I overanalyze them too much also.

Yeah, my leans are Penguins in regulation and Washington over 2.5 TT and LA Kings in Regulation... Need to read up on those, I believe zatkoff is in goal for pens but he has played well since first two start....

canucks are so unpredictable right now its brutal. I took them as well and got burnt.

Washington should blow out Islander's today. Islander's playing their back up Ander's Nilson...

Nilsson made a relief appearance last Saturday where he allowed one goal on 13 shots in a period and a half. It will be his first NHL start since the 2011-12 season where he was 1-2-0 with a 2.75 GAA and .910 SV%.
