No Skinner, no Pitkanin, and no Gleason.

A copy and paste from elsewhere....

    Carolina
    Carolina over
    - The Canes continue to be awfully banged up, but they are a team that plays infinitely better on the road than at home. They will be without Skinner, Pitkanen and Gleason again. We also will get to see Larose on the first line with EStaal and Semin, which is exactly where he should not be. He is nothing more than a 4th liner, but the Canes are short on options right now. On the Caps side, Mike Green returns. Nick Backstrom missed the skate yesterday due to sickness. He did skate this morning but was said to be still feeling under the weather, so a game time decision. The big news leading up to this game is that Troy Brouwer decided to open his mouth and go off on how it was hard to play with Alex Semin because you would never know if he was going to show up..and that the Caps were better off without him. Yes, the last place Caps are better off without Alex Semin who now plays with the first place Canes...everyone get that? The departure of Alex Semin has proven one thing we all knew - the Caps have had a culture of indifference in the lockerroom that goes way deeper than Alex Semin. But of course, Semin is an easy target. Well, look at what Semin is doing in Raleigh when surrounded by a group actually interested in playing hockey all together. He has been awesome, every game. I expect a monster effort out of the Canes tonight. They have all been very quick to respond to Brouwer and defend Semin, as they should. They LOVE playing with Semin; the amount of open ice he generated for Eric Staal is turning Staal into a new player. Holtby is playing his seventh straight game and has been very good in the last few. I am not too sure I am buying into that. One other thing that should help the over is that the Caps pp is nearly unstoppable right now.
