    Alfies last season, offensive powerhouse, better than average goaltending. I think Ottawa has a solid season and sneaks into the playoffs with relative ease

    My team as well. Agree with your points and will also add that the addition of Maclean solidify's the team. We should have a very entertaining season. Now, we just need another D-man to round us out.

    Rangers - 1st or 2nd in East. Cup Winners

    Only improved(Nash) and got rid of some dead weight (Dubi, Avery, Asinimov).

    Also looking at Lundqvist as Vezina. I made a bold prediction to a friend that he'd still have a 30 win season. Its a reach but I do see him around 25 realistically.

    solid core of younger players are coming of age now and might do ok, but probably aren't good enough. visnovsky really doesn't want to be here, goaltending mediocre (they are still figuring it out, montoya, nabakov, and dipietro - montoya probably best one) and the captain is old

    Buffalo Sabres - I think there are too many "what-ifs" with this club to really make a determination where they will finish.....Mainly at the center postion....

    I think they should at least be competing for the final playoff spot in the East till the end.....

    If good things happen for them at the center position this year they may easily finish higher than 8th....
