    Take Canucks vs. Predators

Look for the Canucks, skating on their home ice in Vancouver, to come out on top tonight against the Predators.

Today the Nashville Predators will be on the road as they take on the Vancouver Canucks. We will side with the Canucks.

While both teams are 4-1 in their last five games, the Canucks have been playing a lot better. Both of these squads have been playing with equally talented offenses as of late, with Nashville averaging 3.20 goals per game in their last five amd Vancouver averaging 3.0 goals per game in their last five contests.

As you can see, it's not offense that separates these two teams. What separates these two teams as of late is the defensive talent that both these teams bring to the game. The Predators are allowing an average 2.40 goals per game over their last five while the Canucks are allowing an average of only 1.80 goals per game in their last five games. There is no doubt that the Canucks have been playing a lot better on defense as of late.

Not only do the Canucks have the much better defense, but they also have the much better overall team. The Canucks have also proven in the past that they can beat the Predators. In fact, the Canucks are 14-5-1 in their last 20 games against the Predators. To top it off, the Canucks will be at home with all their fan support. The value is clearly with the Canucks.

    Play: Canucks
