For What Its Worth, Panthers line just moved 5 bucks

I know some of the guys here could use this in adjusting their wagers, i.e. if it matters at all to them.

Panthers moved from +110 to +115 in some quarters.

I'll watch this to see if this had in any manner projected the outcome.

I hate having to stake out for this late, line-movement stuff.

well i hedged and saved some green.

All said, i can atleast get some 422 items on the dollar menu. (local taxes extra)

Late line movements are very very common, as the public often times pounds the favourite right before puck drop.
This is a daily occurrence with most games.
5 cent change with the Florida line really isnt much.

    Well two thoughts here:

~ The Crowd Pounding The Favorite Before Puck Drop And Thereby
The Line Moving Isnt Necessarily An Indicator of Win-Likeliness as
Much As It Is An Indicator of Crowd-Inclination. This is especially true of High-Interest (But Low Value) Games (like Ottawa Vs Boston)

~ The Late Line Movement In Low-Interest (or Dull But High Value) games Like The Panthers Vs Sabres (as opposed to Calgary Vs Detroit last night) Is (in my opinion) A Much More Reliable Indicator of Win-Likeliness.

I'll listen if someone has an anecdote from their wagering recently that proves otherwise.
