    Its safe to say buffalo is the better team though... still have a great chance for the W. Just loved the value on Carolina.

    I rarely play pucklines, thought this was a good one, not looking like it now. That was a good shift, but Sabres are giving away the moment over and over again. Bonehead plays and 2 frickin shorties. I still think Buf is a very strong team.

    And I have to say again, Carolinas announcers are so self congratulatory its terrible. Must be going for a new contract. Center Ice isn't carrying the Buf feed for some reason.

    Forget that garbage about wanting to play hard for your new owner at the home opener....Buffalo looks terrible so far tonight. Giving up 2 short handed goals and then a stupid penalty for too many men on the ice. Buffalo certainly doesn't look like the better team right now at all! Really hope they get it together here to come back and win.

    Buffalo obviously more skilled, but they are being outplayed. They refuse to open up the Canes in the Zone. The Canes playing a collapsing defensive scheme (looks like they are on a pk) and its working right now.

    The D in general is just making bad decisions, pinching at bad times leaving lots of odd man rushes....myers cant roll in and blast a shot high and wide just rolls the boards comes right out for an odd man...apart from a few bad decisions not looking too bad..

    Agreed. You can tell the talent is there with this team. When they get rolling the look very good. They just have to stop making the bad decisions. My Blackhawks are looking very similar right now, guys still learning to click. Its a young season.

    All good points but there is NO EXCUSE to give up 2 short handed goals, end of story. That is just poor defense, sloppy playing, and quite frankly being stupid! The first one shouldn't have happened and rather than regrouping and playing smarter they give up another one.

    Anyways, if you laid -170 on this its your own fault. Plenty of other options to take if you liked the Sabres tonight. You should never really go about -130, especially in NHL betting.

    WOW BUFFALO IS TOTAL GARBAGE! Clearly the first few wins were a fluke because its been a while since Ive seen a team care as little as Buffalo does tonight. Had them in a parlay so glad I didnt lay that insane juice on them. I mean seriously you tie the game with 3 minutes left and then give up another power play goal. Horrible defense and horrible goalie. The way they are playing tonight they will go from first place to last really quick.

    New owner, home crowd, all mean nothing. A bunch of guys who clearly had there mind somewhere else tonight. Glad I am not a fan of this team or I would be embarrassed. This may sound harsh but how can anyone dispute this with how many mistakes this team made tonight. A rec league of 16 year olds play better defense than Buffalo did tonight!
