    Sidney Crosby Prop Bets

Bodog has a couple season props for Sid the Kid.

"Under" 60.5 games played and "Under" 79.5 points is like handing out free $$. He might not even play this season and he's not even cleared for contact in PRACTICE yet. PIT will baby him until he's been symptom free for a LONG TIME. Even if he does return one big hit could shelf him on the bench for the rest of the year.

Under 60.5 games should be absolute gold. He will prob miss the first 10 games minimum. The points one could be tight. Even if he only plays 40-50 games he's more than capable of getting 80 points.

This is assuming he automatically returns to his old form which included playing with a physical edge. Obviously he's not a power forward, but he wasn't afraid to go in the corners and play in traffic. You just know that the first sign of a headache or anything concussion related and they'll pull him from the lineup again. The fact that he's not symptom free 9-10 months later doesn't bode well for this season.

These props are basically saying that everything needs to go entirely right for most of the season to hit the overs. There are just too many factors working against it.

Tough to bet against a guy like Sid. Assuming the over/under for games is accurate...and he does play exactly 60 games, id be surprised if he doesnt hit 80pts. I know the odds seem good, but if there is 1 guy i would not want to bet against, its the best player in the NHL.

    Cash this.

Was cutting it close, but it was just a matter of time before he was back out of the lineup. Now it's just a question of whether or not he hits 81 points.

I still say he doesn't. Goal-less since his season debut...
