Heard that flyers are preparing to make Stamkos a 10 year 10 mill a year deal
that would b huge and tampa only has about 8.2 mill in cap space left so wont b able to match the offer
if they lose Stamkos they're gonna be going after Brad Richards...

They said Philly has 12 mill to play with ... I'm not too sure I'm not a phili fan maybe ur right only 6.7 mill
But those guy on the radio always have the inside scoop...

You will never see a high end 8 mil+ RFA picked up. Not worth it. The team making an offer sheet will have to drastically overpay for the player, hurting the teams cap situation for years, and losing their 1st round pick as compensation for the next four years will set the team back at least a decade in multiple area's.

With the recent signings, and the CBA renewal coming up, Stamkos wants a 9-10 mil deal. Yzerman does not fear an offersheet. The only team SS would sign an offer sheet for is Toronto. Brian Burke would do one (despite false rumors) , but would rather try a trade first. He is not willing thou to give up four 1st rounders for SS at this point (the cost of an offersheet), especially after the Kessel trade.

Philly will only get SS if they offer a huge package to Tampa IF Stamkos does not want to play in Tampa. SS would however prefer to play in Toronto if not Tampa, and would ask Yzerman for a trade to Toronto. The Leafs do have a lot of good prospects, as well as young capable players, i.e. Schenn, Kuli, however I doubt SS goes anywhere but Tampa. In terms of a trade, the Leafs have a better chance then Philly, however nothing is impossible.
