Kiprusoff-> 18-5, 1.94GAA, ,926% with 3shutouts alltime against Stl.
Halak-> 1-3, 3.02GAA, .910% with 0shutouts all time against Cgy.
Cgy has Dominated this series going 23-12 scoring 111 times with 89 allowed since the 2000-2001 season
11-7 in Stl in the same time period.
Cgy isn't Mathematically eliminated from the playoffs just yet sitting 3 points out with 4 games remaining. So this game is a Must Win for them. while Stl playoffs hope are all but gone.
Really don't dig on teams that are basically out of the running but I think STL takes this one. Home record is quality, the road killed them this year. Good luck at any rate.
Well anything can happen as we well know, especially with two teams out of contention (is STL officially out?). Anyways, CGY is .500 on the road, STL is around what .650. Give Kips the edge over Halak if you like (prob not huge though) with fewer injuries to STL (Oshie should be back). Since STL has seemed to be motivated to win at home all year and last change tomorrow I give them the overall edge. Maybe CGY's desire will get the win but at this point I'll take STL around -115 as part of my overall parlay. Cheers
Flames must win status sailed last game I would say. Although they're only 3 back of the Hawks they need to go 4-0 and have the Hawks go 2-4 which is pretty doubtful but you never know I guess.
i like flames to win, but not sure how halak will effect it if hes between the pipes. im feeling the under in this one, even though calgary games usually go over. but i think since its pretty much a make or break for calgarys playoff hopes, they'll bring their A-game against a team that theyve beaten 3 times already
Upon further evaluation the Flames may still be a good play. They're 3 out with 4 left they need to run the table and have the Hawks go 2-4 to get in. A long shot but I could see them prolonging their false hope for a few more games.
