How much do you factor in fielding? Or is it all pitching vs. hitting?

Fielding is very small compared to pitching and hitting. But the more you accurately add, the better your model will be.

The question you should be asking yourself is, "How predictive are fielding statistics?" Your weighting should not be arbitrary.

    What Monkey said.

Also, fielding is complicated. A good chunk of what most people attribute to pitching is actually fielding.

You can ignore fielding completely and have a profitably model. Because it is so frequently ignored, if you are able to model it well, it would probably be worth it. It's most valuable to understand when pitchers change teams.

Fielding is, however, difficult to model well, especially at a player level.
