Can someone please clarify the RPI formula for me. I have meassed with the formula for the past few dyas and I am now confusing myself. Let's say I want to get the RPi for Houston:

column A OP OOP
Houston Colorado Arizona
Atlanta San Fran
Miami Brewers
Mets
Philly
Cincy
St Louis
Houston

I know what the formula for the RPI is, I am just trying to get a visual of what team is ommited per column.

I know it's .25 for column A

.50 for OP ------- you don't include the games vs Houston right ?

.25 for OOP --------- this is where I get confused really.... do you include the games vs Houston or not, and do you omit the gaves vs the OP section ?


Any help clarifying would be greatly appreciated. I know I can get the RPI on several sites, but I am just tinkering with various ideas.
