Notes: these stats are designed to show how a team has played against opponents with certain characteristics. Each opponent is ranked in the above 11 categories and graded as either 'Good' (rank 1-10), 'Average' (rank 11-20), or 'Poor' (rank 21+). We compile the wins, losses and net points for each of the stats and opponent levels.

Each team is ranked for each of the stats listed in the left column. Teams ranked 1-10 are grouped into the "Good" category, 11-20 in the "Average" category, and 21+ in the "Poor" category.

Essentially, your example says that the Bulls are 3-2 against teams that are "Good" (Top 10) in the 'Points For' category.

Net Points I'm guessing is total points combined in the games each team plays.

Net 3.8 points??? that seems low, combined points for possession maybe?
