    nba pythagorean win% - is it better?

    is it better/true that a faster pace (more possessions) teams should use a higher exponent(16) to calculate pythagorean win percentage? ty.

    test it. try using several exponents to predict the win percentage. compare it to the actual result. see which exponent comes closest.

    generally for basketball use the square root of the average total points scored in a given team's games
